The Anti-Ragging Redressal Cell plays a pivotal role in ensuring that students can pursue their education without fear of harassment, intimidation, or any form of ragging.
Our Mission
The Cell actively monitors and prevents any act of ragging, and takes swift action against violations to uphold the dignity and rights of all students. We promote awareness about the serious consequences of ragging and encourage a culture of mutual respect and harmony.
What Constitutes Ragging?
Ragging includes any act that causes or is likely to cause physical, psychological, or emotional harm to a student, including verbal abuse, harassment, or forcing students to perform humiliating acts. Such behavior is strictly prohibited on campus.
Objectives
- To create a zero-tolerance environment against ragging within the institute.
- To ensure prompt inquiry and redressal of complaints of ragging.
- To foster healthy peer relationships and a safe learning space for all.
How We Function
- Students can report incidents in writing, via email, or anonymously through the suggestion/complaint box.
- The Cell conducts thorough investigations while maintaining confidentiality.
- Strict disciplinary action is recommended against offenders, in line with institutional policies and guidelines.
